UNITY COLLEGE
GIRLS BASKETBALL PROGRAM

Unity College Girls Basketball Program has continued to grow over the past 5 years and has established itself as the most successful girls sport at Unity.

Our mission is to “Promote participation and excellence in Girls Basketball at Unity College”.
The Girls program currently involves a Senior team (Year 7 – 12 students) and an Intermediate team (Year 7 – 10) which play in the Friday night Schools competition. It also has 2 middle phase teams (Year 8 and 9 teams) which play in the inter-school Wednesday afternoon competition. We are also starting to do some development work with our younger junior players. Teams are always picked on ability and the senior team may include girls from any age group. All teams have a standard College kit for inter-school competitions and a special tournament kit that they wear for all outside tournaments.
