This Valentines Day Unity College and our fellow Brisbane Catholic Education schools and offices dug deep to raise more than $110,000 ​for victims of the devastating Townsville floods.

From 10am on the 14th February, classes flocked to the Piazza to place gold coin donations on the words 'Show the ❤️ 4 Townsville'. The Unity Café also put on a sausage sizzle with all proceeds going towards the Brisbane Catholic Education Townsville fundraiser. 

Throughout the morning, Miss Delahunty's Year 6 class travelled around the College to hand valentines letters of gratitude to Teachers that have been a part of their learning journey. 

Oh, and let's not forget the Year 1s who had a great time in their Valentines themed photo booth! 

From this gold coin donation participation, Unity College a total of $1339.85. We thank our students and staff for continuously striving to make a positive impact in others lives.
