Community Engagement

At Unity College, we deeply value our strong and enduring connections with the Caloundra and broader Sunshine Coast community. Community engagement is woven into the fabric of our College culture, offering students meaningful opportunities to develop a deep sense of the ‘other’—to see, serve, and stand with others in empathy and grace.

Throughout the year, students proudly represent Unity in a wide range of initiatives, including ANZAC Day commemorations, partnerships with the NARA Indigenous Community Group, Caritas Australia projects, Rosie’s outreach charity, the Race for Justice, and the annual Ignite Conference. These experiences not only enrich our students’ understanding of the world but also reflect our College virtues of respect, compassion, service, and excellence.

In addition to these key events, Unity students regularly participate in various other community-based activities, continuing to demonstrate leadership, generosity, and a commitment to making a positive impact. We are proud of the way our students live out our values through active and heartfelt engagement with the wider community.
