Music at Unity College forms a vitally important and integral part of College life. It includes every student from Prep to Year 8 with selected students continuing into our Year 9 to Year 12 elective programs.  Our students will experience between 8 to 13 years of music education at Unity.

Available Tuition

Prep to Year 3

• Violin
• Guitar (including Ukulele)
• Piano (including Keyboard)
• Voice
• Speech & Drama
• Percussion (including Drum kit)

Year 4-12

• French Horn, Euphonium, Tuba
• Strings - Violin, Viola, Cello, Double Bass
• Woodwind - Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone (Alto, Tenor Baritone), Piccolo, Oboe
• Percussion (including Drum kit and Auxiliary)
• Guitar (Acoustic, Electric, Bass, Ukulele)
• Voice
• Speech & Drama
• Piano (including Keyboard)
• Bagpipes
• Didgeridoo (special arrangement)

Performance Opportunities

• Every child has the opportunity to participate in our Classroom, Instrumental Music, Choral and Immersion Programs.
• The programs form part of an initiative that focuses on establishing strong musical foundations. 
• Our younger students focus on a diverse array of music making and musical exploration.
• Students will have access to a vast array of practical learning experiences, through a well-resourced music classroom with marimbas, ukuleles, recorders, untuned percussion and djembe through a vast range of music making activities. An emphasis on aural and composition with music technology to facilitate students own music making and creativity also enriching classroom engagement.
